BRMA's has been proactive in publishing information on a wide ranging areas for the benefit of the rubber and polyurethane industry. A number of BRMA publications, particularly in the health and safety area, are regarded as authoritative works which are frequently referred to by industry and regulators.
BRMA, through its membership, identifies the need for and develops guidance with the help of its members. The BRMA committees and working parties have over the years contributed significantly to the development of not only BRMA guidance documents and information leaflets, but also guidance documents produced by the Health and Safety Executive and the other government departments.
Project reports are published with a view to disseminating information and encouraging best practice. For example, the recently completed General Rubber Goods Sector Challenge Project (dti funded) has resulted in the publication of a 'Best Practice' guidance document.
Many BRPPA publications are free or very reasonably priced.
